An aromatic seed capsule of a tropical Asian plant, Elettaria cardamomum, cardamom is used as a spice or condiment and in medicine. Our cardamom carries a herbal warmth like a fragrant cross between eucalyptus, mint, and pepper—more citrusy than fennel and sweeter than cumin.
